Basic Rights processes orders based on the time they are received. Orders are processed from the UK within 1-2 business/working days upon receiving the order and according to their availability. 

International Delivery

We now deliver to 200 international countries except North Korea, Syria, Iran, Cuba, Sudan, Belarus, Myanmar/Burma, and Lebanon.

We partnered with Global-e, a third party service acting as your seller-on-record, so you can buy and ship your Basic Rights products to over 200 destinations worldwide!

When you buy your Basic Rights products from Global-e, you will see that your payment method is charged by **Global-e// Basic Rights**, and the purchase is subject to Global-e’s Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy (which will be clearly presented in checkout before you place the order).

A standard or express delivery service is available for most of the countries we ship to. 

International deliveries will be shipped with DHL or a local courier depending which service is selected. 

For all shipping destinations, duty is clearly itemised in your shopping cart and throughout the checkout process. Customers can opt out of paying duty by unticking the 'Pre-pay your duty and tax' box at checkout. If you opt out of paying duty up front, it is your responsibility to pay any applicable charges on delivery. Basic Rights is not liable for payment of these charges and they must be paid by the person receiving the parcel. Unfortunately, Basic Rights has no control over these charges and as they vary from country to country, we cannot advise you at checkout what these charges may be. We advise contacting your local customs office before placing an order for a customs estimate so you are not surprised by these charges when your parcel arrives. 


Note: In the event that the parcel is refused and returned to us by the courier service, the cost of the return shipping will be deducted from the refund amount.

Please ensure the correct shipping address is entered as we are not liable for any lost or stolen packages after it leaves our facilities. Basic Rights cannot alter any deliveries once the label has been created.

We do not deliver to P.O. boxes.

EXCHANGES & RETURNS

We hope you’re delighted with your order. If you’re not perfectly satisfied, you may return items within 28 days. Please note, return numbers must be requested within 14 days of receiving your order. You will then have a further 14 days to return unsuitable items.

Items must be returned to us unused with all labels still attached. Returns that do not meet our policy will be sent back to the customer.

Returns are at the customers discretion and Basic Rights accepts no responsibility until we are in receipt of the return.

HOW TO EXCHANGE OR RETURN

 

Simply follow the steps below:

For UK customers:

    1. Contact customer@basicrights.com with the order number containing the item(s) you would like to return.
    2. Please share the reason for the return. Or your replacement size if you are requesting an exchange. Please note that we are only able to offer size exchanges.
    3. You will then receive an email including your returns instructions within 24 hours (1 business/working day).

For International customers:

    1. To requesting an exchange or return, please email customer@basicrights.com with your order number, item and exchange request.

Clothing

Items should be returned new and unused.

 

Repeated returns

We offer a flexible returns policy to make your online shopping experience even easier. However, customers returning items repeatedly may be refused at our discretion.

 

Gift returns

To arrange a gift return, please email customer@basicrights.com and we will assist you further.

 

Faulty goods

Goods are classified as faulty if they are not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose or as described. Please note that items which are damaged or as a result of normal wear and tear; by accident; or through misuse will not be considered faulty.

If your item is faulty when you receive it, you can return it for a refund within 30 days from the date you received it. If you have owned your item for longer than this, and certainly over 6 months, then please contact Customer Care.

 

Late returns

Your item(s) should be sent back to us within 28 days. Returns outside these timeframes may be accepted at the discretion of BASIC RIGHTS and may only be refunded as a store credit.

 

Colours

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on BASIC RIGHTS. However, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will be completely accurate.

All returns should be requested before you send your purchase back to BASIC RIGHTS. Unidentified items will be returned to the sender.
